Rhinoclemmys pulcherrima manni
Central American Wood Turtle

OUR GROUP:
We have 2.3 breeding group WC.

INFO
Our Rhinoclemmys pulcherrima manni are all from Nicaragua. The females are bigger then the males. The biggest female is about 18 cm SCL. We keep them, during the cold season, from november to april, in a indoor room of 200x150 cm. During the warm season, they are kept outside, in an unclosure of 300x300 cm with a large pond, hiding place and plentiful vegetation. We keep male and female together, and often we observe mating but never find eggs.
We feed Rhinoclemmys pulcherrima manni2-3 times a week with vegetables, grass, fruit, and just for once with dead fish, snails and turtle pudding; in the enclosure they can find food everytime they need, like snails, earthworms and crickets.
